The design of complex software systems for multimedia and creative technology requires that standards for software engineering and development need to be implemented appropriately to ensure communication and collaboration among distributed modules.

We are working on standardisation and on tools for computer-aided software engineering which are intended to improve the process of developing efficient and robust software components.
