Various games and installations from MSc projects.

Real-World Sensors for Interaction with Virtual Worlds. Bal Singh
A laptop computer with a built-in inclinometer allows the simulation of a rolling ball. The user can also blow onto a virtual object simulated on the laptop computer and make it move.

The Vibra-Chair. Student project: Matthew Smith and Lionel Myers
This level-3 student project demonstrates a chair which translates acoustic signals into vibrations, shifting them into a different frequency domain.

Interactive Audio Game with visual interaction to music.
Towards Automatic Understanding of Language. John Elliott, Elizabeth Guest
These demonstrations show the spatial visualisation of language semantics. This is a precursor to automatic parsing of text which ultimately can be used for automated detecting of the semantic meaning of text.

This is an installation of interaction with a telephone and associated sounds.

Live Motion Capture and Animation. Duncan Folley
A motion capture system captures live the motions of a person and allows a real-time animation of a computer-generated avatar (a virtual 3D character).
Eye Tracking in the RePossessed Project. Richard Stevens, Tony Renshaw, Dave Raybould
Users can have their eyes tracked as they watch a scene of a movie shown on a monitor. Subsequently they can watch their eye movement, combined with those of others in a variety of innovative formats, on another screen.
