This is the web site of the Centre for Creative Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University (Leeds Met).

The centre's mission is to support research, development, and practise in the Creative Technology domain. Our members work on projects in computer music, computer graphics, multi-media, human-computer interaction technology, computer games, and intelligent systems. We also create music, graphic and video artwork utilising latest multimedia technology.

Our research and development activities are addressing areas of computer vision, mixed and augmented reality, human-computer interaction technology, artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, and semantic web technology - all with respect to applications in the creative technology domain.

Specifically we are interested in answering the following questions:

• How can the creative process be supported by technology, to allow the artists to create their artefacts more intuitive and seamlessly?
• Which impact have novel ways of human-computer interaction technology on the creative process?
• Can Artificial Intelligence lead to Artificial Creativity?
